Pattern detection identifies recurring changes in your glucose levels. Understanding patterns in your past glucose values and following recommendations to improve your diabetes management may help you adapt your behavior and spend more time in range.1
Once mySugr Glucose Insights receives CGM data from the sensor, detected patterns from the last 24 hours display below the graph on the Home screen.
Patterns overview
If the Predict app has enough data to detect patterns in your glucose values, the patterns are shown and can be tapped for further information.
Enable summary notification
With mySugr Glucose Insights you can export your glucose profile (Ambulatory Glucose Profile) and glucose patterns

Providing context for pattern analysis
- Your logbook entries have an important role to play in pattern detection. For example, meal-associated patterns can only be determined if you log your meals in the mySugr Logbook.
- You can add information to your logbook entries in the mySugr app to provide more context for pattern analysis and improve the quality of suggestions you receive.
- Some patterns might not be discovered if data is missing from the logbook. Make sure you consistently log your insulin and carbs so you can spot patterns.
Set a reminder
- You can set reminders, including push notifications, to proactively follow up on specific patterns you would like to improve.
- Setting up a reminder for a detected pattern can warn you in advance.
