Trend arrows and colors

Trend arrows can help you plan and take action to stay in your target range. They estimate the direction in which your blood sugar may be going, based on recent glucose readings. The color of the glucose value and the direction of the trend arrow provide visual cues:

Rising quickly

Your glucose value is rising quickly (1.7 mmol/L + over the next 15 minutes)

Rising slowly

Your glucose value is rising slowly (0.8 -1.7 mmol/L over the next 15 minutes)

Steady

Your glucose value is stable (no change or insignificant change)

Colors

Trend color 1_very high
Orange - glucose value is very high.
Trend color 2_high
Yellow -glucose value is high.
Trend color 3_in range
Green -glucose value is in range.
Trend color 4_low
Red - glucose value is very low.
Trend color 5_very low
Deep red - glucose value is very low.

    • When the CGM value falls outside the device's measuring range (above 22.2 mmol/L or below 2.2 mmol/L), the app will display HI or LO instead of a numerical value.
    • In some cases, an increased rate of fluctuations in your levels may need a quick and careful response. Talk to your healthcare provider about your diabetes profile and the best ways to manage your condition.
